The Vibration Plate KICKS ASS!

The benefits of vibration exercise, particularly to the lymphatic system, have been enjoyed by people from several cultures over thousands of years. While vibration plates are relatively new, vibration exercise itself is a very old and healthy practice.

The vibration plate stimulates your muscles, improves the flow of lymph, decreases blood pressure and increases blood circulation and oxygenation, as well as favourably increasing the hormones responsible for fat loss and toning.  A vibration plate  also assists your weight loss by helping you burn more calories in less time.

The key benefit for weight loss lies in stimulating the draining of fats and toxins through the lymphatic system to stimulating a rebalancing of the body’s hormones.

The lymphatic system is responsible for draining cell waste, including the fat content from fat cells.  Without a central pump, like the heart in the circulatory system, the lymphatic system can only be driven by contractions of the surrounding muscle.  This creates bigger problems for people with sedentary lives than just burning calories.  With whole body vibration, hundreds of muscle contractions per minute create an invigorate lymphatic drainage to eliminate fat and  fight off cellulite, while the improved circulation induced during vibration therapy also helps tighten the skin.

Beneficially changing the body’s biochemistry is done by reducing cortisol (the main cause of abdominal fat) and increasing, especially, human growth hormone (HGH, which is the most important hormone for fat loss) as well as serotonin.  Increased blood circulation and oxygenation is also critical for eliminating cellulite.

Another key benefit is increased lean muscle mass as well as increased bone density.  Increasing lean muscle mass makes the body burn more calories throughout the entire day, not just during a workout. The more calories the body burns, the more rapidly it loses fat.  The vibration plate creates a rapid and dynamic instability causing more muscles to work harder, increasing muscle density and strength.  Each vibration forces the body to perform reflexive muscle actions, multiple times per second, working in multiple dimensions as the vibration plate actually oscillates in all three planes, exactly as the human body is designed to do.
